At the organisational level, ERNAM has two (02) teaching entities :

- The ICAO ASTC (Aviation Security Training Centre), which provides Civil Aviation Security training, was created by an ASECNA/IOCA/AFCAC Memorandum of Understanding on 25 March 1999. It is dedicated to the training of the 24 West and Central African States under the supervision of the ICAO WACAF Office.

- The Teaching Division, in charge of qualification/upgrading training and the implementation of the TRAINAIR PLUS programme using the international standards of the ICAO.

ERNAM- ICAO ASTC ensures the implementation of ASECNA’s policy on continuing education in the following areas: Civil Aviation Security, Airport Management, Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), Civil Engineering, Management, Languages, IT, etc.

ERNAM may initiate or be entrusted with other specific training under the responsibility of Civil Aviation or intended to the satisfaction of ASECNA, ASECNA Member States and third parties.

"TO BE A PAN-AFRICAN SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE DEVELOPING SKILLS IN THE FIELD OF AVIATION SAFETY, SECURITY AND MANAGEMENT".

This sectoral vision is in line with the extension and implementation of the Integrated Management System policy (Safety, Security, Quality and Environment) and ASECNA's long-term vision: "To be the leading African provider of quality air navigation services in a uniform African sky by 2030".
