Human Factors in Aviation
Goal
The aim of this course is to train the front-line operators of an ATM organization in human factors aspects, so that they can maintain consistently acceptable operational performance throughout the period of service.
Learning Objectives
• Define the role of aeronautical activity players in flight safety and its evolution towards the human factor;
• Explain human performance (physiology and biology) in the aeronautical environment, up to the effects of incapacitation in flight;
• Identify the different modes of human error;
• Identify methods of control in situations that could compromise flight safety.

Entry Requirements
• Two-three years of practical operational experience as a pilot, air traffic controllers, maintenance personnel, dispatchers, operational managers, auditors and inspectors flight operations officer,
• Computer literacy,
• Good oral and written command of English
