The Hong Kong International Aviation Academy, the first civil aviation academy in Hong Kong, is established by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) in 2016. Partnering with local and overseas educational institutions, global professional organisations, and industry experts, the Academy delivers all levels of management, operation and specialised programmes through our five training centres – Air Traffic Management, Airport Operations and Crisis Management, Aviation Security and Safety, Flight Training and Engineering and Foundation and Academic Programmes. Our programmes are benchmarked against international standards and best practices to fit the training needs of the aviation community in Hong Kong and around the region. The Academy has become a member company of HKIA SHL, a subsidiary of the AAHK since December 2019
