QATAR AERONAUTICAL ACADEMY was founded in 1977 as the Civil Aviation College of the Gulf States, with assistance from the United Nations Development Program, and changed its name in 1996 to Qatar Aeronautical College. On 09th August 2019 as per the Amiri Decree the college has transitioned to an Academy and here on renamed Qatar Aeronautical Academy.
QAA takes the initiative to prepare such cadres from all over the world and qualify them academically and functionally. QAA offers full-time approved courses for Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Air Traffic Controllers, Meteorologists, Airport Operations Management Personnel’s and Security & Immigration staff. Additionally, QAA also provides short courses in a wide variety of aviation-related disciplines and is an approved IDP IELTS Training and Testing Center.
To prepare a generation of leaders in the field of civil aviation, through the development and overall improvement of the training opportunities and education for students and graduates, using the best and latest training systems, to become the first choice as an institution of education and training leader in the field of civil aviation industry in the region and the world.
We, Qatar Aeronautical Academy, a specialized educational institution, aim to prepare qualified cadres, according to the highest international quality standards, so as to contribute to the achievement of leadership in various fields of civil aviation.
