Description

This II level Master’s programme is designed to ensure an advanced, interdisciplinary education on legal-economic-managerial and technical-engineering aspects of aviation.

It aims to train professionals, able to carry out managerial functions in the aviation industry, not following a purely business logic or an approach focused on short-term results, but according to sustainable development principles, aimed at reconciling economic, social and environmental aspects.


Goal

The Master aims to enable professionals in the air transport sector to apply the sustainable development principles, designed to reconcile economic, social and environmental aspects, in line with the “Sustainability Science”.


Learning Objectives

  • evaluate transport development plans and projects;
  • interact with national and international authorities, bodies and companies and the market;
  • manage an airline, airport or transport company with a specific specialization in sustainability;
  • plan significant positive effects on the field of air transport, in terms of sustainable development, through programs, plans and strategies that pay great attention to environmental needs


Structure

This programme lasts for one year, 1500 hours total, divided as follows: frontal hours (276 hours) / traineeship/internship (224 hours) /drafting and discussion of the thesis (150 hours) / guided self-study (850 hours).


Target Population

Primary target population: graduates in law, economics, statistics, business, and engineering.

Secondary target population: The course is also addressed to those who already work in this sector and wish develop their career in medium and large companies or simply want to keep up to date, and be able to create value in the company, implementing sustainable business models.
