Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI)
Description
The Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI), located in Hyderabad, Pakistan, was established in 1982 under the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan. In 1988, it was granted regional status by ICAO. The Institute applied for membership in the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Program in 2013 and, having met the required criteria, was certified in 2016.
CATI serves as the central hub for training activities of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), and the corporate sector. It provides a wide range of programs, including ab-initio training, refresher courses, and advanced training across multiple aviation disciplines.

To produce and develop highly skilled and knowledgeable aviation professionals to support the growth and development of national, regional and global aviation.
