Integrated Risk Management in Civil Aviation Capstone
Goal
The goal of this course is to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the Risk Management Fundamentals and Applied Risk Management in Civil Aviation courses. Course participants are expected to develop and present a complete risk management implementation plan, framework/policy, and risk register template to help their organization to initiate or refine its risk management program.
The course will be conducted as a series of virtual and individual group coaching sessions with the objective to ensure that all participants experience the initiation, planning, execution, and management of a realistic risk management program in line with each participant’s organizational goals.
This course will be held on 5 consecutive Thursdays starting at 8am EST, from November 14 to December 12, 2024
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to develop the following documents for their organization:
- Risk management implementation plan with timelines
- Enterprise risk management framework/policy, and
- Risk Register with examples of risks specific to their organization.
Primary Target Population
Aviation professionals and managers from Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs), operations officers, safety analysts, heads of safety performance, airport managers and other professionals interested in developing and implementing Risk Management programs.
