Goal

This course provides the apron management personnel with necessary knowledge,skills and attitudes to ensure that the apron markings management is conducted effectively and efficiently, according to the ICAO Annex 14, Volume 1 and Doc 9157 Aerodrome Design Manual, Part 2 and Part 4.


Learning Objectives

Upon the successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Check aircraft stand markings;
  • Check taxiway markings;
  • Check ground traffic markings;
  • Take corrective actions for observations and non-conformities.

  • Module 0: Introduction
  • Module 1: Check the aircraft stand markings
  • Module 2: Check the taxiway markings
  • Module 3: Check the ground traffic markings
  • Module 4: Take corrective actions for observations and non-conformities

Primary Target Population

Apron management personnel in charge of apron markings.


Entry Requirements

- Bachelor degree or above;

- Have working experience in the airfield operations, have at least one year of working experience in the field of apron management is desirable.
