The course aims to provide Small Unmanned Aircraft (SUA) Users in Hong Kong with the necessary competencies for operational readiness of SUA (Category A/B) in accordance with the Small Unmanned Aircraft (SUA) Order (Cap. 448G) of the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) of Hong Kong.

After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: 

1. Interpret the theoretical knowledge and regulations related to advanced operations of SUA;
2. Apply risk-based assessment methods to plan and manage SUA operations safely and efficiently; 
3. Identify safe environment for conducting SUA operations in normal and emergency situations.

• Module 3: Conducting SUA operations in normal and emergency situations

• New applicants who intend to apply for CAD Remote Pilot Basic or Ratings registration in the near future.

• Existing SUA users seeking to align their knowledge and skills with updated regulatory requirements
• Personnel involved in SUA administration, risk management, or operations, such as surveying inspection, and media applications.
