The course provides aircraft maintenance personnel with the competencies to implement the aircraft EWIS maintenance work in consistency with the job cards according to the Standard Wiring Practices Manual (SWPM), Electrical Standard Practices Manual (ESPM), Wiring Diagram Manual (WDM), and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).

After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

• Perform preventive maintenance on EWIS;
• Perform corrective maintenance on EWIS.

• Module 0: Introduction
• Module 1: Preventive Maintenance on EWIS
• Module 2: Corrective Maintenance on EWIS

Aircraft maintenance personnel who are engaged in or about to be assigned to aircraft EWIS maintenance work.

• Training instructors who deliver EWIS related courses;
• Management personnel for the supervision of aircraft maintenance.

• Hold aircraft maintenance personnel basic license, or at least 1 year working experience in aircraft maintenance related fields;
• At least a college degree (including junior college) or equivalent qualification in aviation related major;
• Computer skills using contemporary software;
• Good oral and written command of the language of instruction.
