Goal
This course will equip Senior AIS/AIM personnel with knowledge, skills, techniques and attitudes to conduct AIS/AIM competency assessment in accordance with AIM & Flight Procedure Design Competency Assessment Policy and Applicable National Regulations

- Module 0: Introduction
- Module 1: Planning for Competency Assessment
- Module 2: Preparation for Competency Assessment
- Module 3: Oral Competency Assessment
- Module 4: Practical Competency Assessment
- Module 5: Competency Assessment Reporting
Primary Target Population
- AIS/AIM Professionals (e.g. AIS/AIM Officers, Cartographers, Flight Procedure designers)
- AIS/AIM instructors
Entry Requirements
1. At least 4 years’ work experience in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) Operations in any two of the following areas:
- a) ATS Reporting Office operations-flight planning;
- b) Briefing office operations
- c) International NOTAM Office operations
- d) Aeronautical Charts operations
- e) Aeronautical Data and Publication operations
- f) Aeronautical Charts operations
- g) Quality Management Systems in AIS processes
2. Successful Completion of an Instructional techniques course lasting not less than 5 days
