Goal

This course will equip Senior AIS/AIM personnel with knowledge, skills, techniques and attitudes to conduct AIS/AIM competency assessment in accordance with AIM & Flight Procedure Design Competency Assessment Policy and Applicable National Regulations

  • Module 5: Competency Assessment Reporting

Primary Target Population

  • AIS/AIM Professionals (e.g. AIS/AIM Officers, Cartographers, Flight Procedure designers)
  •  AIS/AIM instructors



Entry Requirements

1. At least 4 years’ work experience in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) Operations in any two of the following areas:

  • a) ATS Reporting Office operations-flight planning;
  • b) Briefing office operations
  • c) International NOTAM Office operations
  • d) Aeronautical Charts operations
  • e) Aeronautical Data and Publication operations
  • f) Aeronautical Charts operations
  • g) Quality Management Systems in AIS processes

2. Successful Completion of an Instructional techniques course lasting not less than 5 days
