Goal

This course provides a complete overview of the critical components of wildlife and habitat management in Wildlife Hazard Management Programme.


Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. List the key elements of wildlife and habitat management in the context of aviation
  2. Define the possible variations in wildlife species and behaviours within and around the aerodrome
  3. Describe the different control measures and intervention techniques adopted to mitigate risks due to wildlife hazards
  4. Explain how to plan, execute, and evaluate a Wildlife Hazard Management Programme specific to an airport's situation.

Entry Requirements

•          Minimum educational level of participants: GCE ‘O’ Levels

•          Conversant with MS Office (10 at least)
