Safety Management for Practitioners
Description
The programme is designed to develop skills specific to Safety Management Personnel working for Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs) or service providers involved in Safety Management Systems (SMS) and State Safety Programs (SSP).
Goal
The goal of the programme is to provide Safety Management Personnel with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to effectively manage safety processes and safety data. Participants will learn to use IT tools and safety data reports to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of safety management activities in compliance with ICAO Annex 19 and ICAO Doc 9859.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the Safety Management for SSP Coordinators Programme, you will be able to:
- Describe ICAO safety management provisions and the implementation of State Safety Programme (SSP) and Safety Management System (SMS) at State and service provider level, respectively
- Conduct State-level safety risk assessments and evaluate Service Provider safety risks assessments
- Apply operational safety management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of safety management activities
