Goal

The course provides the aeronautical cartographers with the required competencies for the production of aeronautical charts based on GIS methodology and tools in accordance with ICAO Annex 4, ICAO Doc 8697 aeronautical chart manual and ECAR 311

Identify the two types of GIS data structure. 

Conduct simple spatial analysis using GIS software.

Develop Aeronautical Charts based on GIS Methodology and tools

Entry Requirements

A university degree in the field of geography
