Goal

This course provides aviation auditors with upgraded competencies to use specific interpersonal skills and communication techniques to improve aviation audits effectiveness in accordance with applicable Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand and international applicable standards ISO19011 and ICAO Doc 9806.


Learning Objectives

  1. Utilize communication techniques (verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, and communication barriers) when interacting with auditees.
  2. Use writing techniques in clear, concrete, and concise language to produce effective non-conformity.
  3. Apply situation awareness techniques (commanding, control, communication) to deal with unexpected situations.
  4. Apply self-control techniques (personal types, emotion, stress & fatigue, motivation) to deal with the difficult context of auditees.

Primary Target Population

Aviation personnel involved in conducting audits ( in Air Operator, Airport Operators, Air Traffic Navigation Services, MRO, ATO, Aircraft Manufacturer, Ground Handling Agency, and General aviation or Aviation-related Organization, Aviation regulators)


Secondary Target Population

Chief of auditors


Entry Requirements

  • Successfully complete Basic Auditor Training or equivalent (highly recommended)
  • At least one year of audit experience
  • Good command of English (ICAO level 2 or equivalent)
