Goal

The course aims to provide Instrument Flight Procedure Designers, with competencies to design final

(APV Baro-VNAV, APV SBAS, GBAS) and missed approach segment in accordance with ICAO Doc.8168 Vol II and ECAR PART 311

Learning Objectives

After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

• Design GBAS final and missed approach segment.

• Design APV Baro-VNAV final and missed approach segment

• Design APV SBAS final and missed approach segment

Structure

  • Module 0: Introduction
  • Module 1: • Design APV Baro-VNAV final and missed approach segment •
  • Module 2: Design APV SBAS final and missed approach segment
  • Module 3: Design GBAS final and missed approach segment.
