Goal

The course aims to provide newly recruited airport safety officers with knowledge, skills and attitudes required to adhere to safety standards and procedures within the aerodrome for enhanced safety best practices in accordance with ICAO DOC. 9859, NCAA AC-ARD016 & FAAN MMIA SMS MANUAL.


Learning Objectives

  • Carry out daily serviceability inspection of aerodrome operational areas
  • Conduct Safety risk assessment
  • Execute on-the-spot awareness training for Aerodrome stakeholders on Aerodrome safety operational procedures

  • Module 0: Introduction
  • Module 1: Daily serviceability inspection of aerodrome operational areas
  • Module 2: Safety risk assessment
  • Module 3: On-the-spot awareness training for Airport stakeholders on Airport safety operational procedures

Primary Target Population

The newly recruited airport safety officers responsible for executing the responsibilities of their various departmental operations. 


Entry Requirements

Good knowledge of English language

Organization induction course.
