Goal

This online virtual instructor led course will provide Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes and other operational level employees of ANSP, Airport Operators, Airline Operators and other Civil Aviation Organizations to better prepare, respond and manage communicable diseases e.g. COVID -19 pandemic at the aviation workplaces now and in the future, in accordance with ICAO Handbook for CAAs on the Management of Aviation Safety Risks related to COVID-19 and - Qatar Civil Aviation Regulations No. 009 of 2017 ANS.  


Learning Objectives

·      Prevent the occurrence and spread of communicable diseases in the workplace.

·      Control spread of infections in the aviation  workplaces.

. Apply the public health emergency procedure as appropriate in response to communicable diseases.

  • Module 3: Public Health Emergency Response at the Airport

Primary Target Population

  • The Primary target population are Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP)


Entry Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Good command of the language of the instruction
  • Basic knowledge and skills of using online / virtual platform (Zoom / Teem)
