Global ACI - ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP)
Description
This is an executive development programme for airport executives worldwide. Its six-course curriculum covers all functional areas of the airport business and promotes adherence to the highest professional standards.
Goal
The Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program (AMPAP) is an executive development program for airport managers worldwide that promotes the adherence to the highest professional standards, covering all functional areas of the airport business. Graduates earn the International Airport Professional (IAP) Designation.
Learning Objectives
Increase the professional knowledge and capability of airport management personnel worldwide in order to improve the performance of airports in their core missions (safety, security, efficiency, quality, social/environmental responsibility, etc.);
Encourage the adherence to uniform standards and awareness of best practices at the world’s airports;
Promote the recognition of professional excellence in airport management; and,
Expand communication among airport executives globally to optimize knowledge sharing among the world’s airports.
Structure
AMPAP candidates must successfully complete 4 mandatory courses and 2 electives within a 3-year time frame. Total of 6 courses.
GAMS - Global Air Mobility Systems course involves 5 full days of classroom training supplemented additional reading material. GAMS is exclusively offered onsite, conducted over five consecutive days, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning experience.
Additionally, three other mandatory AMPAP courses— Airport Economics and Commercial Management (AECM), Airport Business Planning and Sustainability (ABPS), and Airport Operations, Safety and Security Management (AOSS) - are available in a hybrid format.
2 AMPAP approved elective courses are also to be completed within the 3-year time frame.
*Elective requirement is waived if the participant has successfully completed the ACI NA, US Airport Professional Program (USAP) or holds the Airport Accredited Executive AAE designation.

The AMPAP mandatory courses are open to participants who have been accepted in the AMPAP program.
