Goal
This course aims to provide SMC(SAR Mission Co-ordinator) with adequate knowledge, skills and attitudes to execute Search area calculation for SAR operation in accordance with national and international standard procedures.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
1. Collect the appropriate data
2. Calculate the drift for parachute and aeronautical
3. Calculate total water current
4. Calculate the datum positions and divergence distance
5. Plot the search area
