Goal
This online course assists aviation experts in preparing for Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme Continuous Monitoring Approach (USOAP CMA) activities, in various areas concerning soft skills, key auditing principles, the history and implementation of CMA tools, vital elements of an effective safety oversight strategy and the ICVM process and its phases.
Course Description:
The USOAP CMA provides a mechanism for ICAO to collect and analyze safety information from Member States and other stakeholders in order to identify and prioritize appropriate oversight and monitoring activities to be carried out by ICAO.
This course aims to prepare qualified aviation experts from States or recognized international organizations for performing USOAP CMA activities (upon selection) as well as to provide aviation industry experts with knowledge related to USOAP. This training is offered in compliance with the ICAO Safety Oversight Audit Manual (Doc 9735).
This course covers the USOAP CMA fundamentals, including the Programme’s history, principles, objectives, auditing techniques and safety oversight system critical elements. In addition, it will enable you to practice soft skills such as effective communication, time management and teamwork dynamics.
