Capped - Aviation Security National Inspectors Course (ASNI EN)
Goal
This course provides aviation security personnel with the competencies required to plan, coordinate and conduct quality control measures utilizing Annex 17 - Aviation Security and ICAO methodology in accordance with approved national programmes.
Learning Objectives
- Determine monitoring elements contained in a National Civil Aviation Security Quality Control Programme;
- Describe the legal basis for security audits, inspections and tests;
- Define aviation security audits, inspections and tests;
- Determine the duties and specific skills required by an auditor/inspector;
- Determine the appropriate national programme methodology for conducting quality assurance activities;
- Conduct the various aspects of a simulated aviation security inspection;
- Define effective Root Cause Analysis and resolution.

Primary Target Population
Aviation security personnel who are employed at the national level primarily responsible for the national quality control oversight.
Entry Requirements
Participants should work for the State’s appropriate authority responsible for aviation security, other regulatory authorities, airports, airlines, and/or other stakeholders that have an active role in their national aviation security quality control oversight programme.
