Fundamentals of Security Culture for Security Staff (FOSCSS EN): Online
Goal
This self-paced, 2-hour online course aims to equip aviation professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to build a strong security culture. Participants will delve into the concept of a positive security culture, understand its significance, and learn how to integrate it into their daily routines. In addition, the course will highlight the crucial role each individual plays in supporting and enhancing this culture.
Course Description
Creating a positive security culture within an organization is essential for fostering a secure environment for everyone and building trust among employees. This self-paced online course is designed to guide participants through the fundamental principles and actionable strategies necessary to establish and maintain a robust security culture.
The course is divided into three sections and covers 7-8 different topics, helping participants understand what a positive security culture is, how to prioritize it within their organization, and how to get involved. Each topic can be completed in 6–8 minutes, providing participants with the flexibility to learn at their own pace and from anywhere.

Primary Target Population
Primary target audience:
Security staff, personnel working for Appropriate Authorities, Airport Operators, Aircraft Operators, Regulated Cargo Agents, Regulated In-flight Suppliers, Customs Agencies, Border Control Agencies and Law Enforcement Agencies.
Certificate
The Final Exam consists of 26 multiple-choice questions. The participant requires a grade of 80% to pass. Note that the participant will be granted 3 attempts only. Upon successfully completing the exam, the participant will receive ICAO’s e-Certificate.
