Goal
The goal of this workshop is to build the necessary capacity within States to develop and implement a National Aviation Safety Plan (NASP) that aligns with the applicable Regional Aviation Safety Plan (RASP) and the Global Aviation Safety Plan (GASP).
Learning Objectives
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to;
- Develop competencies for persons involved in the development and implementation of NASP, in alignment with ICAO GASP & RASP
- Identify national safety issues, including operational safety risks and organizational challenges
- Develop the State’s strategic approach to managing safety in civil aviation, including national safety goals, targets and indicators
- Develop an action plan, including safety enhancement initiatives
- Define a process to measure safety performance of a NASP
Primary Target Population
Safety management specialists from civil aviation authorities, accident and incident investigation organizations, aviation industry and service providers (such as airlines, airports, ANSPs).
