The course provides senior and middle managers of State Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs) and other aviation stakeholders with an overview of the development, implementation, and updating of a Civil Aviation Master Plans (CAMP), including the alignment with national development plans and the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in accordance with the relevant ICAO provisions.

After successful completion of the workshop, participants will acquire an overview of the steps required to;

• Prepare for a CAMP
• Develop a CAMP
• Plan for the management and operation of a CAMP
• Strategies to ensure sustainable economic and financial development of the civil aviation system

The Civil Aviation Master Planning Overview Workshop is designed for senior decision-makers from State Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs), relevant government ministries overseeing CAMP review and approval, as well as key aviation stakeholders, such as airports, airlines, air navigation service providers (ANSPs), and other industry organizations involved in aviation strategic planning and development.
