Goal
This course will provide aviation regulators and air operators with the competencies required to implement and conduct, and oversee the key components of an EDTO program, in accordance with the ICAO Standards and Doc 10085, Extended Diversion Time Operations (EDTO) Manual .

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe EDTO requirements
- Apply the EDTO process
- Describe the relevant areas of aeroplane Type Design and Reliability which support EDTO
- Apply flight operation considerations supporting EDTO
- Apply aeroplane maintenance considerations supporting EDTO
- Apply EDTO continued surveillance oversight process
