Goal

The course provides flight instructors with the competencies required to apply CBTA teaching techniques in accordance with ICAO Doc 9868 PANS-TRG, CCAR-141, AC-121-FS-2019-126R1 and AC-141-FS-2023-02R3.


Learning Objectives

After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Conduct instructions on the ground
  • Conduct instructions during flight training
  • Conduct instructions during debriefing

Structure

  • Module 0: Introduction
  • Module 1: Conduct instructions on the ground
  • Module 2: Conduct instructions during flight training
  • Module 3: Conduct instructions during debriefing

Primary Target Population

The primary target population to be trained is flight instructors responsible for conducting instructions using CBTA Teaching Techniques.


Secondary Target Population

The secondary target population will be the course management personnel responsible for managing quality of training and providing procedures and work schedules to the flight instructors.


Entry Requirements

Flight instructors must hold Flight Instructor rating issued by CAAC.

Course management personnel are qualified by ATO as per CCAR-141.
