Goal

This Course is aimed to equip Personnel from Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting, Airlines Staff, Cabin & Cockpit Crew, Ground Handling Agents, Cargo Handlers, Personnel employed in HAZMAT & DG Manufacturing Plants & Freight Forwarders with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes required to respond to a dangerous goods incident in a safe and effective manner in accordance with First Responders Guide to Hazmat Emergencies

Learning Objectives

After successful completion of this Course, the Participants will be able to :

Appreciate the Classification of HAZMAT & Dangerous Goods
Identify the Labelling and placards of HAZMAT & Dangerous Goods
Perform basic control, containment, and/or confinement operations as a response to a Dangerous Goods incident
Prepare the Incident Report

(e) State Police Services

(f) State Fire & Emergency Services

Entry Requirements

Participant:

1. Should have passed at least Senior Secondary School education

2. Should be medically fit

3. Should be able to read, write and speak English language
